Art • Healing • Dignity

Thoorikai Project

Art is a tool, a powerful knife that cuts through any obstacles prohibiting people from living their true lives.

Healing through Creative Expression

The Sahodari Foundation aims to enrich the lives of women, children, and transgender people by helping them address trauma and violence through art.

Thoorikai encourages Trans people to channel their experiences into tangible forms. These artworks are collected and displayed in traveling exhibitions, showing the harsh realities of their lives to the general public while providing the artists with a fair source of income and a path to dignity.

Workshops are offered to the community completely free of cost.
