Donate to continue 'Sahodari', the community magazine

Found in the year 2004,'Sahodari' the first Tamil magazine for the Thirunangais (Tamil Transgender Women) was an effort to bring the struggles of the community to the public through a magazine. The magazine was published for 16 months. Due to lack of financial support, the magazine had to be stopped.

We need your support to renew and start the magazine again. Sahodari will be a great platform and one collective Voice of the Transgender Community in Tamilnadu. The magazine will also carry articles on LGBT issues.

Monetary and non-monetary contributions are gratefully accepted for bringing the magazine to light. All donations large or small will make a difference.

Donate musical instruments

Sahodari identifies creative talents in transgender people and encourages, motivates and supports them to expose their talent and genius to the world. We are forming an all-transgender music group. The instruments we use will be simple, ancient tribal instruments from various cultures of the world. We need your support to buy these instruments for our music group.

We rely entirely on voluntary donations to fund our transgender advocacy projects. Your gift of any amount will help and support our Foundation's transgender empowerment projects. There are many ways through which you can help our efforts.

Checks and drafts should be drawn in favour of Sahodari Foundation and can be sent to our administrative office.
