We and the society

Through out history, in many cultures, we had been the leaders, the mentors and the peace makers. In our own Indian culture, in our great epics, there are stories of great Transgender Legends.

Well, Legends are fine for reading. They are great inspirations. In the modern world, in the changing times, in a materialistic society, baring our souls with honesty and being one self is tough but not an impossibility. It requires tremendous courage, will power, tolerance and lots of love.

Love. It can change everything. It can melt the toughest men and make them fall at our feet. It can change history and rewrite the future. There is nothing as strong and as powerful as Love. Love is Magic. Let us love ourselves. Let us love people.

People count on appearances. Most of them celebrate us if we are beautiful and poised. For those us who may have shades of masculinity in our appearances, we are mocked down, humiliated and even attacked. How do we live in such a world that merely looks at our appearance and values us, not able to look our heart, our character, the honesty and truthfulness in us?

We need to be courageous. Walk straight with dignity and confidence. Walk on the path of truth. No one can live a lie for a long time. Let us never hurt anyone. Let us never get hurt as well. Never let anyone hurt us. If we have strong willpower and absolute confidence in ourselves, no one can shake us.

We are warriors. We fight to protect ourselves. Not to harm anyone. Courage is our amour. Love, our weapon. We must love and respect ourselves first and then the society.
