Ask Kalki

Excerpts from Sahodari Magazine 2004

Answering the questions from the community:

Kavitha asks: I identify myself as a woman or a second type woman and not as a transgendered woman. I do not want to be a part of the Thirunanagai family community. But my friend asks me to be a disciple of an elderly guru from the community. Should I be a part of them?

Kalki : The family bonding in the Thirunanagai community is very strong. No where in the world, among Transgendered people, would you see such a strong bonding of love and care. How ever, there are also few chances of being misled. That really depends upon the Guru who accepts you as her daughter. To be or not to be the part of a family is an individual's choice. Trust, love and honesty are the base for the mother-daughter relationships among us.
